Español: La Guardia Real realiza un relevo solemne en el Palacio Real de Madrid el primer miércoles de cada mes. En este vídeo vemos un relevo excepcional y extraordinario que tuvo lugar el pasado 6 de mayo.
La parada militar escenifica el relevo de las tropas que tenía lugar desde el siglo XIX hasta la época de Alfonso XIII (en el año 1931 el Palacio Real dejó de ser residencia oficial). En él se representa el relevo que se producía entre las unidades acantonadas en la ciudad de Madrid que prestaban la guardia exterior en el Palacio de Oriente (Regimiento Inmemorial del Rey, de León, de Saboya, de Covadonga, Regimiento de Húsares de la Princesa, Húsares de Pavía, Regimiento de Lanceros, Cazadores e incluso en ocasiones los Regulares y la Guardia Civil). Tras su desaparición, el relevo se retomó el 23 de noviembre de 1994 por iniciativa de la Guardia Real con el objetivo de acercar a todos los ciudadanos este importante capítulo de la historia militar al servicio de la Corona.
